Hola.

Hello. *taps the mic a couple times with a finger* Any active follower still around?
I'm sorry for the inactivity with my drawings. Nothing new for you I guess. But allow me to explain.
During this last year, since the beginning of 2015, I've been struggling with a depression forged by multiple things - mainly studies, secondarily art. I already provided a few hints in Give it time, in which I informed that I had to commit myself wholly to university. Prioritizing my studies was necessary if I didn't want to be denied a scholarship again and pay another 800 euros for my enrollment. There are more details of the story scattered in different posts on my personal Tumblr, but it's enough with the basics.
I'm proud to announce that 2016 has been treating me better. Through slow progress and lots of patience, it looks like I'll be able to come this summer clean with all 6 subjects passed (the original 4 I failed last year + 2 more from the fourth course I selected for the sake of balance). In finally watching positive results and success, my mood and self-esteem have improved, to the point that, today, I can safely proclaim that I have gotten over my depression.
Let's get to the point.
"You said you'd postpone your webcomic until next summer. Now that the moment has arrived in the present time, and that you've passed all your subjects, does that mean you'll start right away?"
The answer to that question is no. For diverse reasons.
The first one, to be completely honest, is that, after such a fierce battle against myself, I feel like I deserve a goddamn break. I've been studying for months, and barely had any time to catch my breath. I think I earned this with my accomplishments and hard work. I could use this chance, not only to re-connect with my friends and the rest of the hobbies I abandoned, but also to keep drawing more casually, catch up with secondary projects (the Homestuck translation and derivatives, for example) and polish the finishing touches for some of the webcomic's external aspects, like webpage and logo designs.
The second one is that, given that university drains so much of my precious time and energy, I believe waiting until I'm definitely done with my degree before fully immersing myself in a more serious artistic pursuit is the reasonable choice. Too many worries in my head wouldn't let me concentrate properly in either of the two, and it would inevitably make me come crashing down with both, just like last year. I won't repeat my mistakes. I need my approach to comics and art to be uplifting and enthusiastic, and not self-destructive.
To those who are still there after all, thank you so much. I'm so grateful for your support and for believing in me, despite these last months of me giving you nothing but drought and disappointment. I hope that, when the time comes, you'd stay to witness the progress of my proyects, and, then, you could say "It was worth the wait".
The webcomic will remain without any specified date of release by now, but will not be cancelled. Don't worry, I plan on submitting new drawings throughout the coming months. My decision to give it my all to attempt a possible professional future with art hasn't changed. It's my big dream, and I won't let it wither!

New Ko-fi page

Here! https://www.ko-fi.com/U7U78DQ5
Ko-fi is a website for small ammount donations. Like, $3 small. The price of a coffee... Get it? Yeah ok.
I'll be taking requests there, so, if you donate, you can include a description - your favorite character, a TV show, or even a completely original reference, you name it. I'll draw a quick sketch for you as thanks!
It'll help me to get motivated to pick back up the habit of drawing again.
I can't contact donators unless they're registered users, so it's important you clarify whether you're making a request or just a regular donation.
Thank you in advance!
